Extreme sizing, January 16, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pendleton Women's Petite Embroidered Boiled Jacket (Apparel) I have been looking for a boiled wool jacket for my very petite mother for a long time. When I saw this, I knew it was the one for her and luckily it came in petite sizes, so I ordered a petite small which is what she normally wears. (Even so, many times the sleeves are still too long, but these looked as though they could be altered.) This was a Christmas gift and we were both SO pleased by the quality, style and workmanship. It is really a beautiful garment. HOWEVER, it was so small, she could not even begin to get her arms in the sleeves. I don't see how even the skinniest teenager could wear that size. I was afraid to order another size to try, so ended up returning it. This was a major disappointment, especially since the quality of workmanship was so beautiful.
