Works well, January 4, 2009 By Donald Davis "Don" (Durham, NC) - See all my reviews This review is from: Casio HR-8L Handheld Printing Calculator (Office Product) I have now had this calculator for a year and don't have any complaints, keeping in mind that it is a small calculator, not a full-size one. I sometimes don't hit the keys correctly because they are fairly small, but that is the price for having a compact calculator, which is exactly what I needed. If you have the space for a full-size calculator and will be using it a lot, I would recommend getting something bigger. Otherwise, this is a very good choice. I use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries in it (it takes 4), and simply recharge them every 3-4 months or so as needed. I bought this to replace a very similar Casio which had given me about 15 years of good service until it stopped advancing the paper properly when printing. If this newer one gives me equally long service I will be very pleased.
